On December 4, 2015, the Federal Court of Canada issued judgment for Packers Plus Energy Services Inc. in a patent infringement lawsuit filed against Canuck Completions Ltd. in July 2013 for infringement of Packers Plus' Canadian Patent No. 2,412,072 entitled, "Method and Apparatus for Wellbore Fluid Treatment," commonly known to the industry as Open Hole Multistage Ball Drop Fracturing Systems, used in horizontal drilling and completions. ...»
